- Provide 1:1 ABA services to clients in home and community setting
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with clients and their families
- Implement treatment plans as outlined by the BCBA
- Seek appropriate consultation on treatment plan, as needed
- Record data for all goals during ABA sessions
- Effectively communicate, both in written and verbal formats, with parents about the client’s progress
- Utilize de-escalation techniques for novel behaviors that are not included in the client’s treatment plan
- Participate in meetings with the BCBA, parents and other team members, as needed
- Assist the BCBA with assessment and reassessment procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Attend trainings required to maintain and acquire technical knowledge
- Respond to feedback given by the BCBA during direct and indirect supervision meetings
- Adhere to the ethical standards outlined by the BACB
- Participation in recruitment events
- Assist with the preparation of client materials
- Ability to accept and respond to constructive feedback
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Minimum 1-year experience working with children diagnosed with ASD
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification
- Completion of a Level 2 background clearance
- Must be able to lift and carry clients up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (e.g., kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting and standing) for extended periods of time
